Our Story
PlanFinder was founded in 2019 by Jeroen van Lith, merging professional experience in architecture with a background in AI research.
We recognize that data in the AEC industry is inherently unique. Unlike standard datasets, architectural models contain complex geometric and semantic relationships that require a specialized approach. Our work focuses on developing Machine Learning algorithms specifically tailored to these challenges.
Driven by a research-first mindset, we build tools that bridge the gap between computational logic and design practice. By understanding the specific nuances of AEC data, we aim to reduce repetitive tasks and make design knowledge more accessible and reusable.
